Here's handsome asian american guy, Phillip Lim, fashion designer! His portrait here is a very suave look. I just learned of Phillip while watching bonus american express video on Bravo's website--the aftershow for Project Runway. Kelley Ripa called into the show and mentioned Phillip when asked who her favorite designer was at the moment. Kelley appreciated being able to shop and find stylish items for herself and her young children, all in one place. I was intrigued, googled him, and was pleasantly surprised to discover Mr. Lim is a handsome asian american guy! His company is called "31" and his website is at www.31philliplim.com
Here is Phillip's wikipedia page.
Phillip is our second fashion designer featured so far, just having discovered Thakoon Panichgul a few days ago! What a wonderful journey this has been so far, discovering more and more handsome and beautiful asian american guys! Let's celebrate and toast to discovering many more!

Thakoon Panichgul, Fashion Designer
This pic of Thakoon in front of a mirror let's us admire two of his profiels at once--front and side--mmm, handsome!
Here is Thakoon's website with pictures of his collections.
His New York Magazine profile explains he went to Boston University for business, worked for J. Crew and then Harper's Bazaar Magazine, then went on to Parson's School of Design.
According to Thakoon's wikipedia page, he was born in Thailand and grew up in Omaha--wow! This is an aside, but I remember reading this Matt Gross frugal roadtrip article which explained the large Vietnamese community in Omaha and Matt's Pho cravings fulfilled.
It's stunning and exciting to me that immigrants are choosing communities outside of the coasts to raise their families. I'm sure there are lots of handsome Thai-American and Vietnamese-American guys coming out of Omaha these days, and doing neat things! But since I've never been to Nebraska, and don't know it, I would really appreciate if readers could send me pics and leads on these handsome asian american guys from Omaha!
Unfortunately, I cannot embed this NYTimes video of Thakoon reviewing pieces for his upcoming Spring 2009 collection =(. However according to this beet.tv article, the Times will make its videos embeddable soon. You can still watch Thakoon's New York Times video through this link, where you can listen to his hot voice and stare at his lovely, t-shirt expossed arms.

Ming Tsai !!!
Ming's restaurant, Blue Ginger, is in Wellesley Mass! He has Blue Ginger with wife, Polly, so unfortunately, he's already taken, but more power to you Polly!
Mmmmm, nothing nicer than a cute chinese boy chowing down and eating !!!
Ming's Wikipedia Page
This Fodor's interview with Ming covers some of his fave dining options around Boston. He goes to Porter Square for ramen!
Here's a 2000 shot of Ming in People Magazine
The article quotes Sara Moulton's comments on Ming: "He's tall and handsome, and his manner is very appealing." I think so too!

Garret Hamabata
This screenshot from the video shows Garret being quite patient with Chad!
Wow, I'm so glad I tuned into Bravo's second season of "Million Dollar Listing" !!! Chad Rogers is simultaneously fascinating and intimidating, but in this video clip we are treated to a haircut with his scrumptious hair stylist, Garret Hamabata, making the show completely worthwhile!
Garret's bio from KMS (a hair products company)
